Today is a day to blog...

the day started off pretty rough... woke up late...printer at hone didn't work... got to school... line at the copy machine... argh.

Had to alter plans a bit... kids were working slowly today - like molasses... asking silly questions... commenting on Republicans and Democrats... obviously stating only what their parents have said... oh - how quickly they learn all the bad in others...

more kids not listening and not behaving - wating time and making me aggravated...

then - 8th period came along and little birdie joined my class - FOR REAL - a bird flew in the window and tried to fly out the window when it hit the glass and then hit the sill. The kids flipped out! The bird - it's going to die!!! - Do CPR! Should we call the nurse? Yikes?!! What to do? I called the main office and said I've got a bird in my room.... I think it might have died. Looking at it - we realized that it was still breathing - heavily - but breathing... it couldn't move... the custodian came up and put the bird in a box - he told the kids it had a broken leg... then after school he told the kids that he took it to the animal hospital down the street and that it broke it's wing - it was going to be fine.... I don't think so....

But better that the kids think that - then know the truth - I guess... but what a crazy way to end the day!

then - if that was not nutty enough - I left work and then realized that my cell was left in my room - trying to get back into the building was annoying! The cleaning staff totally ignores a woman banging on the doorway - unbelievable that anyONE could ignore my face banging on a door. But thankfully I got in through another door with another staff worker... so I was able to go in and get my cell... argh

all in all - it was ok - just a crazy day - that's all - hopefully tomorrow is a better day.
just fyi - it's almost a full moon - which may explain the craziness of my day.
