I'm hot and tired... my feet hurt... is the week over yet?
open house was a success - parents asked questions, laughed at my jokes and seemed to be happy overall.

i hope that means that i can do all I said... but whatever - I'll do my best.

I'm thankful that God protected me from crazy parents... all were more than pleasant. =)

may this year be a good one - filled with good memories of laughter and learning =)

Here's what I'm thinking about on the eve of the first day back...

What can you make with extra hot dog buns and a LOT of them?
How DO you know when a hot dog is cooked when it's boiling? How long is too long? Or is it never too long? How can I eat hot dogs for two weeks until they're all gone? Maybe we should have a NHF hot dog eating contest...that'll get rid of 'em...

just kidding. =)

in all seriousness - I'l eat as many as i can and then FREEZE them. But i did read online that you can microwave a hot dog in a bun as long as you wrap it in a wet paper towel... can you imagine me doing THAT for lunch tomorrow at work... hee hee. I don't think I can do that yet - I'm not tenured. =P ew... hot dog smell in the hallways... gross.

anyway... for real... my room is in the best possible shape that I can get it in for tomorrow. But all of my 13 computers are still down... not working - so = - oh well! i'll do my best with what i have. Sometimes I wonder why God allows me to go through all this stuff just to get this year started... while others have it all together. Is he teaching me a lesson... or is he using me for a greater purpose? still have no idea...but whatever it is - it'll all be good.

i'm going to figure out tomorrow's plans and then spend some time just chillin' and relaxin'
