One Day At A Time...

All for His Glory...

Monday, December 06, 2004

Hey all,

well - I have finally done it! I clipped my nails really short and I officailly picked up the guitar again. Man, my fingers are weak and my apologies to all the NHF PT members - especially the guitarists - I never realized what I was doing to your fingers when I said "Hear our praises" 1000 times or Kingdom song just as many times.... my apologies to your fingers... I can't even hold some of the strings down. So now I'm on a schedule - practice everyday - well - we'll see if that happens...

JA lets me play Barbara - for those of you who know... Michelle is a bit more expensive and so I get to practice on Barbara - and actually I'm glad - I can't be trusted with such an expensive instrument considering I'm struggling just to play it.

It's good though - brings me back to a little home worship - gotta love that... so here are two old old songs - that have brought a bit of revival in my heart...

I am standing beneath your wings
I am resting in your shelter
You great faithfulness has been my shield
And it makes me want to sing

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be the name of the Lord
I will bless your holy name for all my days
Blessed be the name of the Lord

(I'm not rewriting more of it - if you remember it - then you're all good. =)

the other song - another oldie but goodie

Father of life, draw me closer
Lord my heart is set on you
Let me run the race of time
with your life unfolding mine
and let the peace of God, let it reign

Oh Holy Spirit, you're my comfort
strengthen me, hold my head up high
and I stand upon your truth
bringing glory unto you
and let the peace of God - let it reign.

Oh Lord, I hunger for more of you
Rise up within me
let me know your truth
Oh Holy Spirit
saturate my soul
and let the life of God
fill me now
with your healing power
Breathe life and make me whole
and let the peace of God- let it reign

Amen...

For those of you still in prayer for ministry teams... May His peace fill us now.... let it reign!
