OMG - 3 blogs in one day - but I just couldn't resist!

those of you who know about her - will not be surprised....

Remember a few months back when I had a student teacher - well - it turns out that she never submitted my stipend form so I've been waiting for my $200 check for months. I finally sent an email up to the office and they said they never received the form - meanwhile I gave her the stupid form in January!! argh - so they're sending me a new form to fill out and send back - so I won't get this check for another few weeks.... can you believe it!!!? She is evil!

I wanted to write some more - so I split my thoughts into separate blogs. =)

yesterday JA and I went to woodbury - on a tight budget but in desperate need of clothes for JA. I must say that I impressed myself - standing inside the Gap, JCrew - and not buying a thing for me - all of it was for JA -it was a bit hard especially when shirts are on sale, etc... but I was glad - because now JA was green in his wardrobe... =) so if you see him in green - please tell him it looks good - I think it really does - we'll add one color at a time. =)

we ended up buying a new comforter cover and some new placemats =) just a few things for the house =)

still need to buy a few gifts for friends... but that'll have to wait until later when I have more money... maybe next paycheck... can't wait until Sept when we'll have a little bit more to spend. =)

well - we're off today to have lunch with lil'D and N and then off to han ah reum with C, M and C... =) It should be fun!

Enjoy the beautiful day...

Hi again

This past weekend was fun...off to the beach on Saturday with N, M and little D - man - does that little one know how to yell and whine - but he is little trickster - we thought he did a doody - but no - he just wanted out of the car seat... hee hee - I have to chuckle just for him - he's too cute... but I hope it doesn't become a bad habit of whining and getting out of his seat... child rearing is difficult - glad Ja and I won't be doing that for awhile...

after Robert Moses beach - headed over to JC's for the bbq - met some interesting ppl.. hee hee - especially one who wants my cookie recipe!!! ahhhh! j/k but funny enough - I also met someone from a loooong time ago - from 9th grade at a summer retreat - isn't that crazy - it truly is a small world after all. =)

then I came home - thinking I would shower, rest and relax but I ended up sitting outside with my lovely neighbors - K, J and S - we sat outside for about 3 hours as they filled me in on all the co-op gossip... JA and I are so blessed to have such friendly, open and funny neighbors. =)

Sunday - more fun again...
morning walk over at Pepsico with some friends - power walking with a cup of coffee - works out the upper arms too - walking NY style =P
then headed home to bake cookies for the co-op bbq... i ran out of time and had to leave the last batch of cookies in the oven (of course the oven was off) but it was soooo cool - by the time we can home from church - the cookies in the oven baked while the oven was cooling down - God loves me so much that he even lets my cookies bake just right =)

Church - a blessing as usual - loved PEd's diagram - thought it was though provoking -

then we came home for th bbq - and we happily invited N,M and lil'D and Cha over for the bbq - we ate, made new friends, talked to MK - who's off to Irag in less than a week - we talked to her amazing family and chatted with K,J and lil'E - it was a fun time to get to know the neighbors better...then we went down to the garages to check out the fireworks! I'm so glad we got to see them from afar - w/o the crowds, loud booming and drunk ppl... it was more fun to be with friends enjoying the beautiful fireworks... although I do think it is strange that people enjoy watching flashing lights in the sky...it's so silly yet it's fun... =)
